About the Founder

Gabrielle Russell‑Davis is the founder of Edible Cosmetics Co., a beauty and wellness brand built at the intersection of healthcare, cosmetology, and science. She began her career in healthcare at just 18, later trained in cosmetology, and used her experience with real clients and real hair concerns to inspire the creation of her own plant‑based formulas.

Working hands‑on with all hair types, protective styles, raw hair installs, and everyday beauty routines showed her how deeply people struggle with dry scalp, thinning hair, breakage, and sensitive skin. Her healthcare background helped her understand the root causes. Her cosmetology training showed her the everyday challenges. And her cosmetic engineering and public health studies gave her the tools to create real solutions.
